Privacy notice — Indoor Sciences

1 · Who we are

Indoor Sciences is the consulting practice of Saniservice LLC, Dubai. It is not a separate company. Anything you send us through this site is received and held by Saniservice LLC, which is the data controller for it.

This notice explains what this site collects and what we do with it. The Saniservice Privacy Policy applies to everything not covered here, including your rights, how we protect data, and how to complain. Where this notice is more specific than that policy, this notice describes what happens on this site.

2 · What this site collects

When you send an enquiry. The forms on this site ask for your name, an email address or phone number, the address or location of the building, and a description of the situation. You may also attach files.

Files you attach. Photographs, reports, plans, previous test results. We treat them as part of your enquiry. They often contain information about other people — occupants, staff, previous contractors. By attaching a file you confirm you are entitled to share it with us. We use attachments only to assess your enquiry and, if you engage us, to carry out the work.

When you call or message. Section 11.4 of the Saniservice Privacy Policy describes what happens when you contact us by WhatsApp. The same applies here.

Automatically. This site uses third-party analytics to measure visits and see which pages are read. That service sets cookies for the purpose. It does not identify you to us, and there is no advertising or remarketing on this site.

3 · Health information

Our work concerns buildings, not people. We do not ask about anyone's health.

You may nonetheless tell us about symptoms — yours or those of someone in the building — because that is often why people contact us. If you do, we hold that information only as part of your enquiry, restrict it to the staff handling your case, use it for nothing else, and delete it if you ask.

You do not have to include it. The assessment needs a description of the building, not of the person.

Health information is sensitive under UAE data protection law. The enquiry form asks you to confirm that you are content for us to hold any you choose to include, before you send it.

4 · What we do with your enquiry

We reply within one business day. We use what you send to decide whether a site visit is warranted, to scope and quote the work if it is, and to prepare the report if you engage us.

Enquiries may be read, sorted, summarised or answered with the help of AI systems that Saniservice operates or uses, as described in section 8.5 of the Saniservice Privacy Policy. You can ask for your enquiry to be handled without automated processing, as set out in section 10 of that policy.

If Saniservice carries out remediation following our assessment, the same record is used. It stays within the same company; nothing is transferred to anyone else for that purpose.

We do not use your enquiry for marketing. If you later become a Saniservice client, marketing communications are governed by section 5 of the Saniservice Privacy Policy and require your separate opt-in.

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with anyone for their own purposes.

5 · Who else sees it

• Saniservice staff handling your case.
• The partner laboratory, where samples are sent for analysis.
• A third-party remediation contractor, only if you have agreed to one being appointed, and only what they need to carry out the work.
• The service providers described in section 8 of the Saniservice Privacy Policy, for the functions described there.
• Anyone the law or a competent authority requires us to disclose to.

6 · How long we keep it

• An enquiry that does not lead to a quotation is not retained.
• A quotation is valid for 30 days and is kept for five years.
• An engagement, including the report and the measurements behind it, is kept as service history under section 6 of the Saniservice Privacy Policy: five years from the last transaction.
• Attached files are kept for as long as the quotation or engagement they belong to.

7 · Your rights

Section 10 of the Saniservice Privacy Policy sets out your rights to access, correct, erase, restrict and object, and how to exercise them. They apply in full to anything collected through this site. Write to privacy@saniservice.com.

9 · Changes

Any change to this notice is posted on this page with the date at the top updated. Material changes are notified as described in section 16 of the Saniservice Privacy Policy.
